Singapore Marathon

So, one more thing that didn’t work out the way I’ve planned.

The idea was to run the BKK Marathon, cycle from Bangkok to Singapore, then run the SG Marathon.

I did run the BKK marathon, but only cycled the thai leg between the two capitals, due to the mad Malaysian monsoon and madder truck drivers on the road.

The SG marathon didn’t work out as planned either. Trying new indian food before the race (yes, I’ve once known these basics) resulted in occasional throwing up and plenty of bathroom breaks on the course.

But nonetheless, it was a spectacular race! By far the most scenic city marathon I’ve ever run and meticulously organised. Apart from the upset tummy, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
